Easter Lambs and Roast Beef

It has been a hectic week, and has been so hard to get a post done.   I got the final 2 lambs crocheted for precious grandsons and all the lambs went into the mail at the beginning of the week, hopefully to arrive at their homes soon. They don't really seem like Easter Lambs, but for little boys, I think they will do.
I've got my Easter Menu ready, how about you all?  I would love to be eating lamb, but will suffice with roast beef, which we have in more abundance.
Luke and I have been working on our seedlings and garden this week when the wind would stop long enough for us to move and think straight.  I will post about it, in a day or two, after Easter is over.
Hope you all have a Blessed Easter, as you celebrate the "the Power of His Resurrection.

all boxed up and ready to ship

  1. Your Easter lambs are so adorable! Did I say that in the last post with them? I meant to anyway!

I'm not at all a fan of roast lamb, much to my mother's dismay as back home it's a popular dish to have local lamb. I do love a nice roast beef though! Your dinner looks delicious.

  4. My lamb is roasting in the oven as I type this comment and the smell is wafting through the house. It is seasoned with a smoked garlic salt I bought back from New Zealand which adds this amazing flavour. We are having chocolate cake for dessert - decorated with a cross made out of chocolate mint sticks. Rather than an Easter egg hunt the children are going to have to search for chocolate bars wrapped in newspaper. Inside one is a golden 'Jesus' ticket with an extra prize! It is the good news for the person that finds it.
May you have a most blessed Easter Day Pam - that dinner sounds wonderful and those lambs you made all wrapped up look even more adorable!
Okay time to go and hide some chocolate bars!

  5. Pam,
Even Nathan was floored that you did Lambie without a pattern, and he's hard to impress. You are amazing. And I mean that. I thank God for you (and Steve too :) and feel blessed to be a part of this family.

Oh great, now I'm wondering how I'm ever going to live up to the precendent you've established. I'm going to go cry myself to sleep.

    Love,
    Himilce

  6. PS Nathan wanted lamb for Passover. Besides having no clue how to cook it, I can't abide the thought of eating such a cute animal! Even their baa-ing is pitiful. hmmm... no veal for me either.
