We really are God'...Such a beautiful post Pam! We really are God's treasures, aren't we? Gosh... without Him we would be so poor. I love it when He speaks to me and shows me treasures on this earth. Just the other morning I was outside watering and I was standing by the big tree out back and this beautiful hummingbird flew right in front of me, I mean face to face with the hummingbird. He stayed still for about 5 seconds and then flew off. I was so amazed that God showed me the stillness and quickness of that little bird. The Lord said to me to be still to listen and quick to obey. Amazing, huh? I am so blessed to have a father that looks after my best interests in every arena of my life.

Thank you for this Pam! I will indeed treasure it always.

Love Ya,
Amy

PS... Please say a little pray for us, we are looking for a new car this weekend. :) Favor and BlessingsGod's Grace Overflowshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02373639150472128918noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178466451834973427.post-52486097132912014632014-05-20T19:05:44.992-07:002014-05-20T19:05:44.992-07:00Your words are so soothing to the soul. It is so neat to remember it. God really does still speak to His children.

love you so much!
~ MarieMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13197848204680298295noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178466451834973427.post-62221703366224933542014-05-19T21:52:58.893-07:002014-05-19T21:52:58.893-07:00This is such a beautiful post Pam. You truly have ...This is such a beautiful post Pam. You truly have a gift for encouraging others. To overflow so that our lives can bless others we first need to be filled. I have always remembered the message of a Pastor's wife who spoke at a conference years ago. She reminded us that we are not drainpipes for Jesus when we give out to others. Rather God fills our cup with His abundance... I picture a pretty tea cup of course! When we allow Him to fill our cup it will overflow not drain away leaving us empty - the cup remains full but it has to be filled to the brim to overflow.
I can really appreciate your illustration too. Your Luke would enjoy fossicking for sapphires which we have done as a family. My son found a sapphire that was large enough to be cut that became part of a ring I wear every day. It's one of my most treasured possessions.Ann at eightacresofedenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15524581927752695509noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2178466451834973427.post-14488808669533685422014-05-19T20:48:57.818-07:002014-05-19T20:48:57.818-07:00What a blessing your post was to me Pam.
